Open Schedules in Focnera, create a named schedule, select repeating days and a time window, and choose at least one app to block. Save it enabled. Focnera applies the restrictions automatically during that window when the required device permissions are available.
Try it step by step
- Grant the device protection permissions Focnera requests.
- Open Schedules and choose New schedule. Give it a name that describes its purpose.
- Select weekdays, weekends, or individual days, then set the start and end times. A window must be at least fifteen minutes long.
- Choose at least one app to block. Add an optional reminder message if useful.
- Save the schedule and check that it is enabled. Review its status when the first window begins.
Choose a reusable routine, not a preset mode
Sleep timer, Morning Reset, Family Time, and Gym Time are examples of names and routines you can create. They are not separate modes that decide your apps or timing for you.
The current app supports up to ten schedules. Start with one or two that solve a recurring distraction, and add more only when they serve a distinct purpose. A reminder message is shown on the blocking screen when you open a selected app; it is not a promised push notification.
Understand schedules and manual sessions
A schedule repeats on selected days and times. A manual session starts when you choose a duration and begin it. Both can protect apps, and both may be active at once.
The 7-Day Focus Reset counts qualifying completed focus sessions. Do not assume that simply leaving a schedule enabled completes the event or credits a session. Follow the event’s displayed progress separately.
Check that your setup fits the device
Permission screens and app selection differ between iOS and Android. Follow the prompts shown on your device and keep required permissions enabled. The schedule acts on selected apps on that device; it is not a cross-device rule.
A time window applies app restrictions, not a general network disconnect or a guarantee that every website is blocked. Keep tools you need during the window out of the selected app list.
Common questions
How many schedules can I create?
The current app supports up to ten schedules. Each needs a name, selected days, a window of at least fifteen minutes, and at least one app.
Can a window continue after midnight?
Yes. An end time earlier than the start time creates an overnight window ending the next day. The selected weekday is the day it starts.
